Motivation

The SEE-IN KB is developed in the frame of the GEO Fundational Task on user needs and gap analysis. A major contribution was made by the Horizon 2020 Project ConnectinGEO.

The idea of a GEOSS Knowledge Base was introduced in the Ministerial Guidance provided during the Ministerial Summit on Earth observations in 2014.
